At present the university has a powerful informational educational complex that includes: local intranet; external distribution network; automated control system of the educational process and the university activities; informational-teaching systems; electronic documentation system; informational-library complex. There are over 40 computerized classrooms, included in the unified network.
PNU is a regional approbation center for introduction of modern information technologies in education, a pilot university to receive hardware and software packages in frames of realization of the projects of the Federal Program for development of education for the period of 2006-2010, and is the main executor of the large federal projects. On the base of the university there has been created Khabarovsk Regional Educational Information Network (KREIN), where over 350 large consumers work, such as leading research institutions and universities in Khabarovsk, Ministries, interschool methodical centers, and all schools of Khabarovsk Krai. Khabarovsk Regional Center for New Information Technologies at PNU is the KREIN operator providing reliable high-speed internet access. The university is the official representative of Russian educational networks RUNNet and RBNet at the Far East. |
