Our university has always been famous for its student traditions. One of the main tasks of the university youth policy is education of active, talented young people, future highly skilled specialists with creative abilities.
From the very beginning of studies at the university the students take an active part in various cultural and social events. An academic year traditionally begins with “Initiation into the Student Community”, the all-university holiday for freshmen. During the year the university arranges and holds various festivals and contests, holidays and celebrations devoted to the memorial dates. The result of the students’ creativity is the annual festival “University Spring”, a contest of student amateur activities, in frames of which the best students in study, research, creativity, sport and self-administration are awarded various prizes.
