FACTORS OF CONSTRUCTION OF INLAND CONTAINER TERMINALS

Global container traffic passing through the biggest seaport terminals has been growing steadily. Inland container terminals are becoming one of the key ele-ments of a transport technological chain. The necessity of their construction is dictated by operational, economic, and ecological agents that have been considered given the overseas experience. The paper focuses mainly on operational factors.
