THE WAYS OF IMPROVING EFFICIENCY IN DETECTION OF PERIODIC COMPONENTS IN MEASURING DATA BY THE ZERO-CROSSING METHOD

The paper deals with ways of increasing efficiency in detecting hidden periodic components in data by a zero-crossing method. So, it is proposed to introduce the threshold range of values in which data are considered to equal zero, making it possible to reduce influence of high frequency noise on algorithm performance. For improving the selective ability of the method utilization of a moving-average filter is proposed. The investigation results on the models of the signals that are composed from additive mixture of periodic components and Gaussian noise are given.
