MODERN PROBLEMS OF THE DEVELOPMENT OF TRANSPORT SYS-TEM TRANSIT FREIGHT CAPACITY

The article investigates the key factors determining the possibilities for transit transport systems. The main factors that govern the loading of the transport system transit flows are geopolitical and geo-economic situation of the territory, status and level of the development of transport infrastructure, the configuration of the backbone networks, capacity of traffic centers. The results of the theoretical analysis made it possible to formulate the current scientific tasks for improving the theory and methodology of the development of the transportation system transit potential.
