THEORIES AND CONCEPTS OF PUBLIC HEALTH: SOCIOLOGICAL INTERPRETATION

In the article the theories and the concepts of population and public health system are considered from the aspect of sociology. The article deals with the advantages and the disadvantages of these theories and concepts as well as with their specific features. The necessity of their synthesis and the possibility of its realization in formation of a unified system theory of public health are analyzed. The synthesis of all existing knowledge allows developing different variants of concepts which are nec-essary for practical support and realization of social goal of public health system.
