THE USE OF OEM GPS-MODULES IN SYSTEMS OF TIME SYNCHRONIZATION

In this paper we give an overview of widespread commercial GPS-receivers. We studied the capabilities of the embedded GPS modules for the usage as a temporal synchronization unit in an informational /control system. A Lassen iQ GPS-module was used as a testing platform. The peculiarities of GPS-receivers which increase instrumental error are explored.
