Analytical Model for the Estimation of the Approximation Degree to Epsilon-Entropy with the Use of the Pyramidal-Recursive Approach of Image Encoding

The analytical model to estimate the approximation degree to epsilon-entropy of the source of non-stationary image signals is provided with the use of the pyramidal-recursive approach for the initial image partitioning. The experimental investigation has been carried out, and the parameters of the system for encoding images have been found.
