Concept of “Spirit” in the Philosophical Anthro-pology of Max Scheler
Considering an opinion of Max Scheler, a founder of the philosophical anthro-pology, the fundamental concept of this philosophy school is “spirit”. The author of the article makes an attempt to reveal essence of the given concept as it was introduced by Sheller himself and his progenies. In the article the development retrospective review of concept of “spirit” in the European philosophy by the example of George Hegels theories is presented besides proper consideration of the main propositions of the philosophical anthropology founder. Also the alternatives by the example of “descriptive psychology” by Wilhelm Dilthey and to “scientific sociology” by Verner Sombart are shown. The attempt to consider retrospectively the philosophical anthropology as a rigorous trend in philosophy is undertaken.
