To the design of polymer cutting with the use of preliminary chemical processing.
Processes and phenomena occurring at the interaction of a chemical medium and polymers are analyzed and a chemo-mechanical method of polymer processing has been designed. The heart of the method is to change, in a required manner, properties of the material being processed by preliminary chemical processing of a surface layer in order to make subsequent machining with a cutting tool easier. The design methodology of major diffusion parameters with the interaction of solid polymers and an aggressive medium is provided.
