Spectral analysis of video frame on the basis of impulse functions to synchronize watermark embedding and searching processes

This paper examines the problems with video processing for copyright protection and describes a new method for efficient synchronization of the watermark embedding process with the watermark searching process using a spectral analysis of every video frame. For time reduction of the spectral analysis it is proposed to employ a complex system of impulse functions. The experiments illustrated the effectiveness of the proposed method of synchronization against such attacks as scene editing, cutting and swapping.
