The spectral analysis of acoustic emission signals at mechanical tests of ceramic materials
The investigation results and the processing technique of the spectral characteristics for acoustic emission signals are given obtained when samples of ceramic materials from silicon nitride, electroporcelain, and some other ceramics were tested for the four-point bend. A detailed analysis of the acoustic emission signals before and after sample destructions from nonelastically deformed electro-porcelain has been made. Essential distinctions of statistical parameters of the normalized spectral functions are found.
