SOCIAL AND ECONOMIC STRATIFICATION OF THE RUSSIAN SOCIETY AT THE END OF THE XX CENTURY - IN THE BEGINNING OF THE XXI CENTURY

The article deals with the social structure of Russian society, which during the reform years has changed dramatically and resulted in a change in the social hierarchy and lifestyle of different social strata. For social science important task - to form an adequate idea of the current social structure, unnecessarily, it is based on the study of specific social strata. Social strata of post-Soviet Russia are the subject of ongoing research activities of scientists. First of all, it refers to the higher, middle and lower classes.
