“SEMANTIC SURPLUS” OF STYLISTIC CONVERGENCE IN THE ASPECT OF COMMUNICATIVE COOPERATION STRATEGY IN IDIOSTYLE OF I. STONE

“Semantic surplus” of stylistic convergence contributes to harmonization of communication between the author and the reader, including their intellectual, emotional and esthetic coexperience. Achieving such “semantic surplus” is treated by the author of this article as a tactical step in the aspect of communicative strategy of cooperation. As a result of researching “semantic surplus” of stylistic convergence at the crossing of cognitive linguistics and communicative stylistics the new cognitive-pragmatic functions are revealed and described in the aspect of cooperation strategy.
