Importance of Risks in a Transport Corporation
Risk management becomes the integral element of corporate management. It takes on special significance under conditions of the deepening international financial and economic crisis. The principal provisions and kinds of risks have been reflected in the development strategy of railway transport. The crisis and the essential decrease in the volume of carriage make modifications in structure of risks. The differentiated structure of production requires differentiation of risks with an allowance of territorial and functional specificity of structural subdivisions of a corporation.
