“Soft” Methods of International Influence and Transformation of Foreign-Policy Paradigm in P.R. of China

Recently the development of international relations demands new approaches from leading states of the world. Chinese scholars actively search for models of the most appropriate conformity of growing economic power and “soft” power of the country to its national interests and needs of international community. At the same time China realizes a strategy of harmonious world which reflects efforts to find new models of cooperation in the period of globalization. The concept of “soft” power facilitates forming favorable conditions for achievement of multi-level consensus between various actors of international relations.
