Methodological Aspects of Industrial Policy of a Region
In the article the methodical basics of development of regional industrial policy are considered. The experience of industrial policy in subjects of the Russian Federation, influence of continued changes in the market and globalization on industrial development, impact of TNC and network structures on the regional economy have been studied. Industrial policy of a region of the Federation aims at cardinal restructuring of the economy on the basis of industrial and production core. It has to be a subordinated element of the development strategy and be elaborated taking into account the major tendencies of development of regional branch complexes, municipal institutions, and global competitiveness of a region.
