Trade Unions as a Factor of Civil Society
During the last years the Russian trade unions have changed significantly, i.e. the number of traditional, post-Soviet trade unions has decreased; the new alternative trade unions have appeared. In spite of decrease in membership, the trade unions are still a popular organization capable of influencing the formation of the civil society in Russia.
